“These pixel-heavy objects encapsulate many years of heavy conversations with friends and acquaintances, of research and embodiment practices, countless collaborations. It speaks to our collective need to reframe bodies to work toward anti-white, supremacist, patriarchal structures. A need to deepen our understanding of ourselves and others. It asks us to see the cis male as less binarical, and assumptions of masculinity as something to be investigated in ourselves and others.
My hope is that this is the start of oh-so-many conversations that lead to a deeper sense of belonging and interdependence.”
